The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis is a Sovereign Island Nation, located in the West Indies, also
known as: The Caribbean Basin.
The country consists of two main islands, Saint Kitts and Nevis. At 1,156 Meters (3,793 Feet) the
highest point in these Islands is Mount Liamuigaon.
The estimated population of Saint Kitts and Nevis is about 55,000 inhabitants.
Tourism is the major source of income for the Islands and it is increasing consistently, year after year. In 2009, for instance, more than 587,000 people travelled to Saint Kitts and Nevis, compared to about 380,000 in 2007.
The Caribs, also known as the Kalinago is the name of the Indigenous People, who called these beautiful and fertile islands home, for centuries. Some Historians believe that Caribs immigrated from South America to the Caribbean islands about 1200 AD.

The Native People of Saint Kitts and Nevis, deservedly, named Saint Kitts as "Liamuiga", which means "fertile land", and the Island of Nevis, “Oualie”, which means "land of beautiful waters".
Today, Saint Kitts and Nevis is a Sovereign, Democratic country with a Federal System of Government. The Prime Minister is the leader of the majority party of the House, and the cabinet conducts affairs of the state. The country may also be described by the unofficial term, “Commonwealth Realm”.
The Beautiful and Historic City of Basseterre is the capital of Saint Kitts & Nevis. With an estimated population of 13,000, it is also the biggest city of the islands.
Basseterre was founded in 1627, which makes it one of the oldest towns in the Eastern Caribbean.

The Investment Program requires that the mandated amount be invested in designated properties. The investor has the option of selling such investments after five years.
As Citizens of St. Kitts & Nevis, a successful applicant and qualified family members are issued passports, which allow them to travel visa-free or visa-on-arrival to more than 120 countries, including all of the European Union (EU) “Schengen Visa Zone,” Britain, Ireland and Switzerland.
